BUSES

Buy all your tickets beforehand at the tobacconist, as you cannot buy them on the bus.

Do not forget to validate your ticket as soon as you board the bus (going and on return).

 

lt is very important to punch the ticket in the machine on board the bus, as inspectors operate on the buses and the fines for those caught without a ticket or an invalidated ticket are heavy.

 

Local bus services

Bus No.1 — Jesolo Paese and Market —  Fridays (San Dona` Market Mondays)

Bus No.2 - Cortellazzo (Fishing village)

Bus No.3 - Piazza Faro (Lighthouse)

Bus N0.4 - Venice (Via Mestre and Marco Polo Airport)

Bus No.5 — Cavallino and Punta Sabbione (Cavallino market Tuesdays)

 

To go to Venice take bus No.5 (from the rear of the hotel) to Punta Sabbioni (Port) and then the boat to Venice.

 

You can buy a combined return ticket for both bus and boat and for additional cost, the water bus, which will take you up and down the Grand Canal as many times as you wish.

 

There is no queuing. Once the bus arrives it is a free for all ! —  You are not guaranteed a

Seat.

 

Buses as well as boats are likely to be crowded with standing room only at peak times, with no air conditioning !!
